Lip Augmentation Overview

If your lips are naturally thin or you feel they have lost some of their previous volume or definition, then dermal fillers offer an effective treatment choice. There has been tremendous growth in the use of dermal fillers over the last few years.

Dermal fillers temporarily add volume and enhance the shape of your lip area giving a beautifully natural result.

How do lip fillers work?

Lip fillers deliver almost immediate results (within 48 hours). A medically developed semi-permanent solution is injected into the lips to enhance their natural shape and plumpness. This type of filler is based on hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body and has been purposely designed to make sure the end result is a natural look you can smile about.

Ideal for:

  • Erasing smokers lines
  • Enhancing thin lips
  • Creating definition to the cupids bow and lip border
  • Giving natural, long-lasting volume to the lips.

Common Questions

Lip fillers typically contain local anaesthetic to help minimise any discomfort. we also apply a numbing cream prior to injections, so that you can be sure your treatment will be comfortable.

Some swelling and bruising may occur post treatment. This will usually subside within 48 hours, and any bruising can easily be covered with makeup.

Once swelling has subsided, the effects of your treatment will continue to develop. You will notice that your lips appear balanced, fuller and more hydrated.
